This pair of antique cast brass miniature taper candlesticks features a classic turned baluster stem and a stepped circular base. Sand-cast in the 19th century, the bases show the authentic, non-uniform texture and hand-finished seam lines characteristic of early traditional metalwork. At 10cm tall, these heavy, small-scale taper sticks are perfectly proportioned for holding slim candles or accenting small spaces. They are in very good condition with a warm, natural patina and authentic age-related character to the brass.
