A pair of heavy, solid brass candlesticks dating from the Late Georgian to Regency period (circa 1820–1840). Designed in the Neoclassical taste, each piece features a classic fluted urn-shaped socket resting on a tapered stem and a stepped, square molded pedestal base.

The undersides reveal dark, hand-finished sand-cast construction characteristic of early-to-mid 19th-century metalwork, alongside original internal rod push-up ejector mechanisms designed to easily raise wax candle stubs.
