This set of two heavy, professional-grade antique tenon saws was manufactured by the renowned Tyzack Sons & Turner Ltd at their Little London Works in Sheffield, England. Dating from the early 20th century, these tools represent a significant period in British tool manufacturing. The larger saw features a solid brass spine clearly marked with the "Nonpareil" brand name, the iconic elephant logo, and the model number No120. The smaller saw is manufactured in the exact same style, indicating they were originally part of a graduated workshop set.

Both tools feature traditional open wooden handles with a very neat "J B W B" stamp, likely an institutional or professional workshop mark from the period. These are weighty, high-quality instruments designed for precision woodworking and joinery. The pieces are in very good condition for their age, displaying a rich natural patina to the brass and honest wear to the timber. The largest saw measures 46 x 19cm, while the smaller saw is 41 x 13cm.

These tools would suit a traditional woodworking enthusiast, a collector of antique Sheffield-made hand tools, or an industrial-style interior display.
