This charming mid-century English tin features a beautifully detailed lithographed lid depicting a central bouquet of large pink chintz roses, blue forget-me-nots, and delicate cottage garden blossoms. The design is framed by elegant gold-toned scrollwork, which coordinates with a subtle cream and pale green pinstriped pattern along the sides. Fitted with a secure rear hinge, it was originally produced mid-century to hold biscuits or confectionery, capturing a classic, romantic English country aesthetic.

The tin has a very good exterior appearance, with the vibrant floral lithograph remaining beautifully bright and clear. In keeping with its authentic vintage age, there is some light surface wear along the gold rims and characteristic oxidation/tarnishing to the bare metal interior and base.
