An authentic Victorian antique 18ct yellow gold 5-stone carved gypsy ring, fully hallmarked for London 1887 and crafted by maker Charles Jones (CJ). The graduating solid 18ct gold band features five starburst-set round paste glass gemstones arranged in an alternating deep ruby-red and clear stone sequence across a flush-carved setting.
The interior of the band is stamped with its original 18CT purity mark alongside the London assay office symbols, the 1887 date letter, and the CJ maker's stamp. A timeless piece of late 19th-century British hallmarked gold jewellery.
Good antique condition for its age. All five paste glass gemstones are intact and securely held within their starburst settings. The solid 18ct gold band retains a warm aged patina with light surface wear and a historic sizing seam at the base of the shank.
