This antique 1930s pocket tin was produced by Henry Thorne & Co. Ltd. of Leeds, England. Finished in a dark ground with gold floral detail, it features lithographed illustrations of children in fancy dress costumes alongside embossed Thorne's Toffee branding.

The hinged lid opens smoothly, and the underside displays the original pressed embossing. The side panels list the original contents, including almond, brazil, and mint toffees.

The tin displays authentic patina, paint wear, surface scratches, and age-related tarnishing throughout the metalwork.
