An authentic antique brooch pin, crafted in the Czech region circa 1850. The brooch features an intricate stamped brass filigree frame, reflecting the fine European metalwork of the late 19th century.
At the center is a rich green glass cabochon decorated with a gilded and enameled floral motif, framed by four faceted garnet-red glass stones, turquoise-blue glass cabochons, and faux pearl accents. The reverse exhibits a hand-fitted tube hinge, extended pin stem, and a period-correct C-clasp typical of late 19th-century construction.
The brooch is in good antique condition for its age. All glass stones remain intact and securely set. The stamped brass frame displays a deep, natural antique patina with trace white residue in the filigree crevices consistent with historical polish or wear. The long pin stem and C-clasp function properly and hold securely.
This piece would suit lovers of Victorian costume jewellery, late 19th-century filigree brooches, or early glass pins.
