Stamped underneath with Storrak Chester, representing a regional 19th-century ironmonger or hardware retailer from the historic city of Chester. This piece exhibits a lovely Georgian revival silhouette with elegant turned line detailing along the stem. Designed with an internal push-up wax ejector mechanism typical of Victorian candle holders, the rod is now seized in place with age.
