A mismatched pair of solid cast brass Victorian candlesticks dating from the mid-to-late 19th century. Featuring classic baluster and turned stems set on heavy square-to-cushion bases, these pieces form a nicely proportioned near-pair.
Both candlesticks are in good antique condition, showing a rich natural patina, surface oxidation, and age-related character marks throughout. The internal ejector mechanisms are fixed in place from age, and there is a small casting split near the lower stem of one base. Please review all photos carefully as they form part of the condition description. Both take standard 2cm taper candles securely.
