A pair of late 19th-century Victorian brass candlesticks, dating to circa 1870–1900. Crafted in England using traditional sand-casting techniques, these feature classic Queen Anne revival styling with turned baluster stems, central faceted knops, and inverted ribbed beehive turnings set on stepped octagonal bases.
The undersides reveal the original central iron tie-rod construction typical of multi-sectioned 19th-century brassware. Hand-finished on a lathe following casting, the socket rims show subtle, authentic non-uniformity from manual hand-turning.

Condition Notes
In very good overall condition with light, honest cosmetic wear and patina appropriate to their age. The internal push-up ejector mechanisms are currently seized, but the candlesticks remain entirely stable and fully functional for standard taper candles.
