An antique Victorian solid brass taper candlestick featuring an elegant open barley twist column. The open double-stranded spiral stem rises from a domed circular base with an uneven, hand-turned rim to support a flared candle socket.

The hollow underside reveals typical late 19th-century sand-cast brass construction with a central fixed pin assembly.

In good condition with a warm aged patina, light surface wear, and minor verdigris within the socket. There is a slight rock to the candlestick due to the hand-hammered base finish, but it stands completely securely.
