An authentic Art Deco 1920s Czech brass filigree brooch pin. Crafted in Czechoslovakia during the roaring twenties, the brooch features an intricate openwork rosette design styled as a swirling pinwheel starburst, detailed with raised bead accents and scrolling borders.

The reverse is fitted with a period-correct trombone slide clasp and pin stem. A striking piece of 1920s Bohemian filigree jewellery.

The brooch is in very good vintage condition. The openwork brass filigree retains deep relief definition with an attractive aged dark patina. The trombone slide fastener functions smoothly and holds securely.
