This large mid-century Indo-Persian solid brass floor vase features hand-etched depictions of classical dancers, floral scrolls, and a wide peacock-feather frilled rim. Sand-cast in solid brass, the etched grooves are filled with dark pigment to highlight the intricate hand-carved detailing inspired by Mughal and Persian court art.

Crafted using traditional metalworking techniques, the vase was cast in separate sections before being joined to create its tall, urn-shaped silhouette. Artisan metalworkers then hand-etched the surface motifs using fine gouges, applying a dark pigment infill into the carved recesses to make the figure and floral designs stand out against the warm brass background.

It is best suited for dried flowers or purely decorative display as it may not be watertight. The brass displays a rich patina with dark oxidation in the grooves and light surface wear consistent with age, remaining in good condition throughout.
