A mid century West German art pottery jug, model number 275/17. This piece features a rich brown and soft blue-grey drip glaze over a raised relief pattern of grapes and leaves, complete with a ribbed neck and ornate loop handle. Marked to the base with 'GERMANY' and shape number 275/17.
In good condition with a tiny bit of glaze missing on one of the leaves and a small chip on the unglazed base rim, both consistent with age and light use.
