Late Victorian oval cameo brooch crafted from lightweight cream celluloid early plastic. The front features a raised relief portrait of a lady in profile with flowing hair, framed by a molded scrollwork border and a beaded outer rim.

The reverse reveals a matte textured back plate with authentic period hardware, including a brass tube hinge, long pin stem, and a working trombone safety clasp fastener.

The piece measures 5.5cm in length by 4.5cm in width. Condition is very good, with light cosmetic wear as expected of a piece that is over 100 years old, with detailed relief work and the trombone clasp closes securely.
