Late Victorian silver-plated novelty sugar scuttle, dating to c. 1880–1900. Modelled in the form of a fireside coal scuttle, it features hand-engraved floral motifs across the cowl, a beaded rim, and a pedestal base. The rear of the scuttle has a built-in bracket holding its original matching scoop.
Made from electroplated nickel silver (EPNS), it makes a great decorative display piece or practical addition to a tea tray. This piece would suit traditional, country cottage, or period interiors.
Dimensions: 13 x 14 x 9 cm
Condition: Very good condition. Shows light surface marks and minor silver plate wear along the rim and high points, as expected with age.
