An authentic vintage c1950 Italian micro mosaic circular brooch pin. Handcrafted in Italy during the mid-century period, the brooch features intricate hand-cut glass tesserae tiles set within a gold-toned brass bezel with a twisted rope border.

The central design displays a vibrant red poppy framed by green foliage, surrounded by an outer ring of colorful millefiori scrollwork canes and geometric accent tiles. Stamped "ITALY" on the reverse and fitted with a secure rollover safety clasp.

Very good vintage condition. All glass mosaic tesserae tiles are present, intact, and firmly set. The gold-toned back shows light vintage handling marks, and the pin mechanism functions smoothly.
