A striking vintage Chinese porcelain teapot featuring a distinctive geometric, eight-sided octagonal form and a fixed overhead bridge handle with a wavy grip. Hand-painted in a vibrant palette of underglaze blue, pink, and green enamels, the side panels depict the traditional symbols of the Taoist Eight Immortals, including the flower basket, fan, and sword, framed by scrolling peonies and foliage along the shoulders and lid. The interior includes a traditional molded clay body with three hand-punched strainer holes at the base of the spout for loose leaf tea. The underside bears a hand-painted blue framed mark.
