A classic vintage gold-toned large oval photo locket pendant on a matching chain. The front features a high-domed cabochon displaying a romantic 18th-century courting couple scene in the style of Fragonard, set within an ornate filigree border.

The hinged locket opens to reveal two internal photo compartments with built-in frame rims designed for sliding photographs into place. The reverse displays a deeply stamped diamond and foliate leaf pattern. Suspended from a gold-toned rope chain fitted with a spring ring clasp.

Very good vintage condition. The central artwork is clean and vivid, the gold-toned metal retains a bright finish, and the hinge opens smoothly and snaps shut securely.
