Vintage Greek Spartan Warrior Statue Evangelides Bronze Verdigris Spear 620g

A vintage solid brass figure of an ancient Greek Spartan hoplite warrior, hand-cast by the Evangelides Bronze foundry in Larnaca, Cyprus. Styled after classical Greek metalwork, he is depicted in a dynamic stance wearing a crested helmet, holding a round shield decorated with a geometric star emblem, and brandishing a long removable metal spear, finished with a hand-applied verdigris turquoise patina.

He stands on an integral oval base and shows light wear to the patinated finish, revealing warm brass undertones along the raised details.

In good vintage condition.
