A unique handcrafted vintage coin brooch pin, made using three authentic Argentine circulating coins from 1922 and 1923. The front features two 5 Centavos coins flanking a central 10 Centavos coin, each depicting the profile of Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap.
The reverse displays the coin denominations (5 and 10 Centavos) amidst laurel branches, hand-soldered together with a pin stem, tube hinge, and C-clasp fastener. A fascinating piece of repurposed numismatic folk art jewellery.
Good vintage condition for its age. The nickel-bronze coins display a warm, natural aged golden patina with light handling wear. The hand-soldered pin mechanism functions properly and holds securely.
