A handsome pair of heavy vintage cast brass candlesticks dating from the mid-20th century. Crafted in England, they feature classic Georgian Revival styling with distinctive faceted baluster stems, octagonal knops, and stepped circular spreading bases.
These substantial holders are cast from solid brass, giving them a wonderful weight, crisp design details, and a clear, resonant ring when struck. The underside of each base is clearly stamped with "Made in England".
They are presented in good vintage condition, retaining a rich, natural aged patina with moderate tarnishing due to use and age that adds to their authentic period character.
