This vintage mid-century Mexican oval brooch depicts a night sky landscape featuring mother of pearl moon and star motifs alongside brass inlay detailing set above abalone shell mountain peaks. Stamped ALPACA MEXICO on the reverse, this versatile piece features a revolving safety clasp pin as well as an attached top bail to wear as a pendant necklace.
