This vintage mid-century Mexican brooch is designed in a bold sunflower motif featuring a central disc of polished abalone shell surrounded by individual shell-inlaid petals. Circa 1950s–1960s, it is stamped ALPACA MEXICO on the reverse and fastens with a classic open C-hook clasp.

Condition: Good vintage condition, showing light surface tarnish and age-appropriate wear to the silver-tone metal backing. The pin stem has a slight kink but functions smoothly and holds securely in the C-clasp. The abalone shell petals remain intact, bright, and full of natural iridescence.
