A mid-century ceramic planter manufactured in West Germany by Scheurich-Keramik. Finished in a glossy cream glaze over a pale clay body, it features an ornate relief-moulded acanthus leaf scrollwork band around the rim and fine vertical ribbing down the main body. The base bears the impressed model numbers 809-23 and the W. Germany mark.
