A charming mid-century miniature domestic toy iron, manufactured in Great Britain circa 1950s. This delightful piece features a substantial metal soleplate base with a molded cream Bakelite body and handle. A wonderful replica of post-war household appliances, it includes a realistic fabric indicator dial on the top with settings for Nylon, Silk, Wool, Cotton, and Linen.
It is in very good vintage condition for its age, but as with most vintage pieces, there are signs of cosmetic wear and play. A perfect addition for collectors of post-war British toys or mid-century nursery memorabilia.
